picture of Felipe, 3d interactive puppetYoung student s of the Children’s University™ found themselves revising Spanish with a 3D model of Felipe the Spanish speaking puppet!   The students had attended weekly Spanish lessons at Doncaster College and during their final graduation session they were able to practice their new found language skills with Felipe.

It is thought that when Children are learning a new language they find it less intimidating testing out their new knowledge in conversation with a friendly puppet rather than a grown up.

The Children’s University is a national organisation that provides 7 to 14 year olds with exciting and innovative learning activities and experiences outside normal school hours. They celebrate achievement and reward participation through our certificates.  Raising children’s aspirations is important and they aim to develop the understanding that learning can be the satellite navigation to better places in life!
